Moi’s plan was to watch the entirety of ‘Frances Ha.’ It turned out to be a bad movie. Moi would have loved to say that it was deliciously bad in the way the 1950s monster movies are bad, but NO, it was just bad. The movie is around 90 minutes, moi got through about an hour. That is an hour of her life that moi will never get back. This story of vapid twenty somethings prattling on about their rudderless lives made moi wonder why? Moi began the day with a quote from Alexander Hamilton:

“He who stands for nothing will fall for anything.”

Still, even bad fims can teach one many things like, how much one is willing to endure before declaring an activity a waste of time, a point to compare other work, and the subject matter may make one think, even if the presentation is not that deft. Today’s deposit into the ‘Joy Jar’ are bad movies.
